Sunday April 17th we will be celebrating the 4 year anniversary of Feed the People!!
For the past 4 year people have been getting together in honour of their birthdays and making positive change in their city. Be it making sandwiches for those hungry on the DTES, raising money for a school in Nicaragua or sorting clothing from the clothing drive each month something has been done to help.
On Sunday the 17th of April Feed The People has partnered with A Better Life Foundation and Save On Meats to celebrate 4 amazing years.
We will be getting together to make and distribute sandwiches 1000 to those in need on the DTES.
Here is how it works…
~ 4pm arrival of those who wish to volunteer
~ 15$ min donation to cover cost of food or 25$ gets you a t-shirt and your donation covered. plus a drink from Postmark Brewing
~ 4-6pm we are making gourmet sandwiches (best yet by far) at Save on 
Meats
~ 6pm hand out begins .. Mark Brand is letting us hand out right out if the restaurant so people can come in and sit down and eat if they like!! We will also have people walking around distributing and letting people know what is going on!
~ With your donation you get a sandwich too.. so hopefully we will all get to eat together, have a drink and celebrate 4 amazing years!
~ we will also have some good tunes being played.. So stick around and enjoy your sunday with us, while doing a good thing for the city we live in!
